Waiting List
The Waiting list module consists of two parts. The fist option is to place the client on the list and then the other option is to move the client off the waiting when a time applicable becomes available for the specific client appointment.
The name 'Waiting List' means waiting List. A client is placed on the waiting when there is no appointment time available for the requested client appointment time.
Adding a client to the waiting List:
Placing a client on the waiting list is very simple. First click on the potential employee and time slot, and then click on the "WAITLIST" button with the Plus (+) sign. A scrollable list with your client names will be displayed. You can stroll up and down to find the client or you can click on the search button to find the client. Once you find the client, you select the service that the client will be requesting and select OK. Then next screen that is displayed is the actual list with any other waiting appointments. You can also make changes here by clicking on the row header.
Here is an example: Suppose when you place the client on the waiting list you made an error and you will like to change the assigned employee. You'll the click on the appointment header and select the other employee.
Converting a waiting list appointment to a real appointment
If you look between the MAKE button and the "Date" selection button, you'll see a small display area that indicates how many appointments there is on the waiting list. If there are appointments on the waiting list you can click on the "WAITLIST" button with the magnifying glass. Again you'll see the list of clients that are on the waiting list that you can make changes too and then finally by selecting and clicking on the insert button you can then convert this waiting list appointment to a real appointment.
