COMMAND BUTTONS

Please note that selecting the Command button or selecting the first letter on the Command button makes these selections. E.g. To track Edit-E, track Clients-C, to Void-V, etc.

S-Services Displays a list of all the currently available services. Only the services that are marked as active are shown.

<F10> Retail This button is usually used for making retail sales.

V-Void Enter a voided item on the sales ticket. A voided item is entered to correct a previous entry error on the same sales ticket. When this is selected the mark * appears in the Extended Price column for the next ticket item to be entered. When the entry is completed, the amount will appear as a negative number under the Extended Price column and will be subtracted from the total for the sales ticket. If any inventory items are voided, they will be added back into the Stock on Hand quantity for the item.

D-Discount A percentage discounts for the next sales entry. Enter the percentage as a whole number. For example, 10% would be entered as 10. This percent is displayed under the Disc column on the screen. When the Extended Price is calculated it will show the discounted price.

A-Ads Assign the sale to a specific advertising publication. When A-Ads is selected, a list of the different publications appears. Enter the number that precedes the desired publication. When the sale is completed, Unique will credit the amount of the sale to the specified publication, so that you can track your advertising campaign. I.e. Yellow page advertising, etc.

C-Client Client tracking. Select a client to assign to the sales ticket. If you were not forced to do this at the beginning of the sale, you can also track multiple family sales by selecting the client name assigned to the service performed. A sales history will be created for the selected client. The name, address, and the last visit date of the selected client are displayed.

E-Employee Enter a new employee. Each employee can receive credit for the services they performed, even when all services are entered on one sales ticket. For example, employee #100 did a perm or Mary and employee #105 did a manicure by selecting the E function. You can switch the employee # so that the next employee can get credit & properly update the client's history.
