Starting Unique
To run the Unique Software application, select the Unique Salon Software Icon that was created for you on your desktop.
If in the future you accidentally deleted the Unique Icon, you can go to the Start > Programs menu and locate the Unique Salon Software program group. There will be a list of options that will allow you to access the Unique Software and its options.
Microsoft Corporation, who is the maker of your Windows Vista operating system for your computer, has implemented new changes to Windows Vista to prevent unauthorized programs, viruses, and spy ware from entering on your computer without your knowledge. This is a good thing. This feature is equivalent to an airport metal detector. (You cannot enter unless we check you out.)
Since you have paid your hard earned money for this software, it’s not a problem for you to run it with the proper requirements needed from Windows Vista.
To implement these requirements here is a one time setup procedure.
| 1. | After installing the Unique Software, right click on the Unique Software Icon and select the properties option with your left mouse button. |
| 2. | Select the compatibility tab with your left mouse button. |
| 3. | Select the first Check Box that says run this program in compatibility mode, and then select the last check box that says “Run as Systems Administrator” |
| 4. | Select the Apply button and then select okay (Left button) and that’s it! |
You’re now ready to run the Unique Software with the proper windows settings by double clicking on the Unique Icon.
Note: If Windows prompts you with an “Allow” message, then just select the “ALLOW” option.
