Retail Only Sale

Retail Only Sale (F8) - for Bar Code Scanners only 

You can ring up retail sales separately. This feature is designed especially for the Bar Code Scanner.

If you have a customer just wanting to purchase retail items, then this will be a quick way of processing

their retail sales.

When you are ringing up a retail only sale, select the Retail Only (F8) barcode sales button. 

Note: No Client tracking is done in this mode.

Enter the cashier #  the sale should be credited to. If you have a "House key " code set up, you can enter that code. Generally, most retail sales are entered as a "House " sale unless you are paying your employees commission on sales.  

You can scan the product(s) with your barcode scanner and the description of the item will be displayed under the inventory item column. If you have previously loaded your prices for the product in the inventory file, the unit price for the product will automatically be displayed and the extended price will also be displayed. 

To cancel the line item, select ESC  or cancel when asked to enter a price. 

Setting up a "House " account is done by just adding a new employee call "House".
