Purchase Day Spa/Tanning Account

A Day-Spa & tanning account is a prepaid account for services to be performed at a later date.

For example: A client can buy a facial series of five treatments. These services are paid for in advance and are entered as a purchase package of five sessions. Every time the client uses or redeems a treatment and they are checked out in the Unique software as a redeemed service, a treatment is deducted and the employee that preformed the service only gets credit for the service when the service is redeemed .

The same goes for tanning. A clients buys 10 tanning sessions for 30 days. Every time the client uses a tan,  it's then deducted form the total amount of tan purchases. This means that the client will now have 9 tans left.

A House account is added to the employee module with the first Name & Last name house.

Purchase Day Spa Account

To setup a Day Spa account: 

You would enter the transaction as a Sale. A Day Spa Account can be purchased with any sale. You need to setup a Sales code for Day Spa in the Misc\Service Setup at the  

Sales Register menu .  

  Description:                Type "Day Spa" 

Activate Service:         Check this option 

Key Type:                Select DaySpa 

Taxable:                Leave unchecked

Inventory Deletion:        Check this option  (If you want to track backbar products used.) 

To Purchase a Day Spa: 

Select Sale from the Sales Register menu .  

The Select Client screen will be displayed. Enter the employee code assigned to the transaction.  

Enter the sales slip # , and request/walk-in information . The Enter Sale screen will appear. Select the service code you set up for the Day Spa and select Ok . (If you do not remember the service code, select the Service button and a listing of all service codes that were setup will be displayed).  

Locate the Day Spa code. Once you enter the code the screen will automatically return back to the entering sales screen with a Day Spa Purchase or Redeem dialog box displayed. Select Purchase and then Ok . Select the Add an account button and enter all the information as prompted.  

Enter the type of service, any previous unit, a description of service, and an expiration date.   

Then enter the # of units purchased and the purchase price . Is this correct?  Select  Yes or No .

Now you can either enter another transactions  together (retail or service) or finish the sale.
