Printing-Pricing and Barcode Labels

If your retail product items already have a barcode image on it, then there is no need to print a barcode again. Just use the labels

that are already printed on the bottles.

Pricing labels

Pricing labels are the small 1X1-price labels that you place on each item. Barcode labels are of two sizes that you can print from Unique.

To print price or barcode labels, you must first tell Unique how many labels to print for each item.

If you use the purchase order option to order your products, then the amount of items that you received will be set automatically to the quantity to be printed.

Also every time product items are received, the quantity received is stored with the item so Unique will keep a running total of how many of each item has been received since the last time the labels were printed.

You can then go back and set the system to reprint from a previous day on the total amount of items that were received.

To print Barcode labels:

Select  the Labels option form the Inventory menu

A scrollable window appears listing all your inventory items with the quantities to be printed for each item.

If you use or have the "Purchase Order module" when a PO is created the Unique Software will automatically set the

print quantity to the exact amount of labels to be printed.

To change the quantities:

Double click on the desired item and edit the number of labels to print for the item. If you do not want any labels to be printed for this item, enter a quantity of zero .

When all the quantity to print amounts are correct, select cancel  to quit the editing and Pricing Labels menu.

You can now select the F6- Print Barcode button and click on the  label option you will like to print.

Unique will  then print the specified number of labels for each item and it will resets the print quantity amounts to zero.
