Pricing Discounts

If you give sales discounts for retail items that are purchased in quantity, you can let Unique setup a discount pricing structure for specific group of items. 

To setup the discount structure: 

Select Edit/Add then Discount from the Inventory menu .  

The information entered here only applies if you allow discount pricing for that particular item. You must check  the "apply discount " quantities option.  

For example if you set the quantity amount to be greater than 12, then anyone who purchases more than 12 units will get a 10% discount,.

The discount is taken automatically through the Sales Register when the sale is rung up. Note that the items must be purchased all at the same time or Unique will not give a quantity discount. 

The "Apply Discounts to quantity pricing " question lets you turn on or off the discount structure for regular retail items.  

The "Apply Discounts to Sale price " question determines whether or not the discount structure also applies when the item is on sale.
