Previous Day's Sales (F7) 

F7 Previous Day's Sales  - Sometimes you will not be able to enter sales on the day that the sales is originated. This feature "Previous Day Sales" will allow you to enter sales from a previous day without having to change the date on the computer.  (Do not change the date on the computer)

Select the Previous day sales button from the Sales Register menu.  A monthly calendar will be displayed with the current date highlighted.   Select the date you want the sales transaction to appear on.  After making your selection, select Ok . At the top of the screen will be "Sale for the date MM/DD/YY". 

Now you can start entering the sales ticket for that date.   This sales entry will be posted on the day that you selected for processing the specific sale. The sales entry will tend to appear with the current day's transactions, However when you perform the end-of-day  close out, it will log that sales entry on the date that you have selected to perform the sale. 

This is an excellent way for adding or changing transaction that has not been rung up correctly from a previous day. It's also a good way to make payroll corrections for the up coming payroll period. Remember that these entries will  appear in the End-Of-Day close out for validation purposes.
