Payroll Setup

The payroll section allows you to issue paychecks to your employees, keep track of the payroll taxes owed, and IRS payments when they become due. The steps required to running the payroll are as follows: 

 

1. Enter all your employees, along with their payroll and commission setup information. This is done through the Employee section and must be done first. 

 

2. Setup the payroll tax table and other tax rates.

3. Enter the hours worked for each employee. 

 

4. Issue paychecks 

 

5. Pay the payroll taxes. 

 

6. Employee Withholding Tax History. 

 

Step 1 only needs to be done once.

Step 2 will have to be done once at the beginning of every year when the Federal and Local state governments publish the new tax rates. 

 

The payroll can be done any day and at anytime. You can issue one check or multiple checks.
