View - Toolbars

The main word processor screen has two toolbars, which are visible by default. The Standard Toolbar contains such buttons as New; Open, Save, Print, etc. The Formatting Toolbar contains the Font, Size, Bold, Italic, Underline, Alignment, etc. buttons. Clicking one of these sub menu options will toggle the visibility of the toolbar. That is, if the toolbar is visible, clicking the option will render it invisible. A checkmark beside the toolbar name also indicates that it is currently visible.

View - Ruler

By default, the ruler is invisible. If the View - Ruler option is toggled, the ruler will be displayed. The ruler is located directly underneath the toolbars.

View - Zoom

Adjusts the size of the current workspace. 100% is the default, showing the document at normal size. 50% displays the document at half its original size, and this is the smallest possible value for the zoom. The largest possible value is 400%, which displays the document at four times the original size. The zoom has no effect on printing the document, it merely determines the size at which you see the document on the screen.
