Re-Loading Unique According to your license agreement, you cannot copy the software. However, you can remove the Unique program authorization from the main computer and load it on another computer. However, the program will not run on the main computer. To remove the program from your main computer, please call Unique for an uninstall verification code.
Re-Loading Unique On Another Computer Reloading the Unique Software on another computer requires you to install the original master disk and then the last updated disk that was sent to you If you have one. You will then take the backup you made from your old computer and then restore it on your new computer.
Networking
We strongly recommend that you have someone(professional) that has setup a network before to configure and manage your computer networking.
This section is for salons that intend to have more than one computer networked together. The Unique Software is network ready by default. Unique does not require any special type of configuration to run on a network system since most of the configuration is done by the networking capabilities built into the windows operating system. Unique will then take advantage of these functions internally. Your network personnel will have to make the necessary network wire connection form computer to computer, then map the computer drives and enable network sharing of both drives. Your network personnel will then create a shortcut at the workstation desktop (secondary or back office computer) that will be linked to the UBSWIN.EXE Unique Software program that is running on the main computer (or server).. From the new shortcut that is created you can launch the Unique Software as you currently do at the main computer.
