Collecting Client Statistics

What comes next depends on how you have setup your register options (through the Misc/Register Setup).  

If you have enabled Client Statistics , Unique asks you a few questions about your client.  

Specifically you are asked:  

Request Client or Walk-in Client? (Answer R for Request or W for Walk-in) 

The Request or Walk-in question is asking if the client requested a specific stylist or is a walk-in for service. The information collected here is kept along with the amount spent by the client and the results are printed in the Client Statistics report .  

This report can be very useful to you by helping you see who your clients are, the amounts of money being spent by each group, and the retention factor for each stylist.  

The software automatically handles new clients.  By automatically considering a client new, there is no information in his/her client history. 

If there is no information in the client history and a transaction is performed for the client, the software treats that client as a new client to the salon.
