Advertising Setup

 

 

To determine if your advertising is worth the expense, you need to keep track of how much income each form of advertisement is generating. Unique helps you to do this by letting you credit a sales ticket to a specific advertising publication.  

 

When a sale is rung up, the amount of the sale is credited to the proper publisher. This will let you know how effective your different types of advertisements are.

To setup who you advertise with and the costs associated with the Ads

 

Select Misc/Register Setup/Advertising Setup .  

 

Commands: 

       Edit        Edit the advertising setup. 

 

       Clear        Clear out the Cost, Date, and Amount fields for all Publications. You are asked for confirmation before clearing                takes place. 

 

       Print         Print selected advertising report. 

 

       Fields: Enter the different publications you are advertising in, such as local newspapers, yellow pages, flyers, etc.  

       

       Media        The name of the advertising Media.  

 

       Cost         The cost of the advertising. 

 

       Date        The date the advertisement started. 

 

       Count        The total amount of client response. 

 

       Amount The amount of income generated for advertising in this media.
