Adding and Editing Client Information 

 

Adding a new client can be done at various times in the Unique system. The process is the same however; depending on the area you are working in will determine what option to choose. 

 

To add a new client(s) from the Sales Register: 

  

Select Client from the Sales Register . Then select Client In fo. The Select Client Menu will be displayed. Enter either the clients' first name or last name and select Ok . Select the Add New Client button. An Add New Client Menu will be displayed.  

 

You can enter all the information on a client at this time or you can just enter the client name and phone number and return later to edit the client information and add the other client information. (It is always good to at least get the name and phone number entered at the initial set up of the client record).  

 

To add a new client(s) when entering a sale: 

 

Select Sale from the Sales Register , select Client Menu will be displayed. Enter either the clients' first name or last name and select Ok .  

 

Select the Add New Client button. An Add New Client Menu will be displayed. You can enter all the information on a client at this time or you can just enter the client name and phone number and return later to edit the client information and add the other client information. 

Next enter the employee code .  

 

Enter the sales information (sales slip number, etc 

 

To edit a client record: 

 

Select Client from the Sales Register . Then select Client Info . Enter the client name (first or last) or telephone number and select Ok . Select the client you want to edit and select the Edit button.  

 

The client record will be displayed in the edit mode at which time you can make the necessary changes to that client record. When you have finished with entering the changes select the Ok button. 

 

Adding a Client from the Client Menu: 

To Add a new client from the Client Menu: 

 

Select Client button from the Main Menu . select the Add button . A blank client entry screen is displayed. Enter all information that is pertinent to that client. Make sure the information is accurate, as you will want to use this information later when printing mailing labels.  

 

To Edit or make changes to a Client record from the Client Menu: 

 

Select the Find menu option. There will be several options to select to find a client-last name, first name, or telephone number.  

 

Select the option you can identify the client by. For example, select the last name. The system will ask you to type the client's last name.  

 

Select Ok after entering the last name. A listing of the last names you requested will appear on the screen. Using the scroll bar to find the client, highlight the client you want.  

 

Then select Edit/Add , select Edit . Make the necessary changes to that client record. You must select OK or page down in order for the system to update that client new record with the new information. 

 

clip0001 When adding a client or editing a client records you can enter personal information about that particular client. This information will appear in their client history and on their client check-in record. This information is entered under the MEMO field. You can enter this at the time of adding a client or when editing. Generally, the information entered here could be hair color, size of rods used for their perms, special deposits or any special instruction about the client in the event that the client regular stylist unable to service them. Also if the client is on medication, this field would be the appropriate place to record that information. 

 

To enter the information at the time of adding a client: 

 

Once you have entered the client information at the Add New Client Menu , then select Edit/Add . Select Notes . A Client notes screen will be displayed. Enter any information that you have received about the client.  

 

Adding client notes:

To enter the information at the time of adding a client, once you have enter the client information at the Add New Client Menu , select the  Edit/Add , then select Notes .  

 

 

Editing Client Notes: 

 

The information contained in the notes area can be updated or changed at any. You can enter as much information as you want here. Let's put this way - Hundreds of pages. Probably more than you want to know about most of your clients.
